| In modern behaviour therapy and training, TTouch is a valuable tool to help modify stress related, aggressive and boisterous behaviour. TTouch can also be beneficial in addition to, not instead of, Veterinary Treatment to ease discomfort caused by some physical injuries or conditions. On a more general level it can help to enhance the relationship between the family and animal.
TTEAM and TTouch offer real value for money. You can learn how you can help your animal by working with a Practitioner on a one to one basis, or attending a workshop.
One to One Sessions
You can call your local Practitioner and organize a one to one session. You will be shown TTouches and leading exercises, as appropriate, that you can do to help your companion animal overcome a variety of problems. Many clients see a change in their pet within the first session although this obviously depends on the longevity of the problem and possible contributory factors.
One to one sessions with Rachel Jackson are £30.00 for companion animals and £30.00 for horses for one hour. Travelling costs may be added if the animal is unable to come to the Practitioner and lives outside a 10 mile radius from where she works.
Workshops
You could also attend a workshop. Costs vary depending on the skill level of the Practitioner and the area. The emphasis of a workshop is to give a hands on introduction to TTouch. The aim of the workshop is to give you the opportunity to practice with each other and with participating dogs so that everybody takes away some practical skills. For further details of workshops being given by Rachel, including titles, dates and costs please see pages titled Forthcoming Workshops.
